Founder of xy media + consulting, cat rescue mom, former Miss Penticton's Miss Congeniality, plant lover, and your go-to gal for all things admin.

My journey began in the early ‘90s, barely tall enough to see over the desk, sorting receipts like they were Pokémon cards in my single mom’s tiny accounting firm in Northern BC. When I wasn’t helping her, I was at my grandparents' house or working in the bar-restaurant-hotel she managed. Those early days gave me a front-row seat to the chaos and heart of running a business.

Fast forward through a colorful and well-rounded career path - Clinic Director, General Manager, Hospitality Marketing, Director of Promotions, Manual Labourer. Each role taught me something crucial about what makes businesses thrive (or stumble).

By summer 2024, I hit my breaking point at an industry conference, watching an undeserving man celebrated on stage. On the long drive and ferry ride home, I had a realization: if he could build an empire, I could create something better - something rooted in integrity, grit, and a fresh perspective.

That’s when xy media + consulting was born.
